Basse is the pet name, has been on shows two times, both very promising  

He become a father for the first time November 13th 2001, The mother is DKCH Chowhills' Dots One.

May 20.05.2003 he becommes a father for the second time, 1 male and 4 girls. Dam: DKCH SCH Velvet Macy v Juttersburch.

On May  27th..2003 he went to a internationale show  "Rassehunde Ausstellung" i Neumünster  and got : V1, VDH-CHA, res. CACIB, CAC.Judge : Jutte Mayer. D

DKK's Show  in Hillerød  June  14 th.2003 Basse got his first DK CAC and res. Cacib. Jugde: Joyce W. Mann, Skotland

Silkeborg September 07th..2003 Basse got Cert. and begomes best in sex nr. 2. Judge: Ian Meijerink, NL

Jægerspris Oktober 18 th. 2003 Basse becomes Danich champion, Judge: Tuula Tammelin, DK

November 15 th. 2003 The result of the year "Bedst Smooth in Denmark BOS"

31 07.2004 Basse get a CERT in Sweden and is now Swedisk Champio

What  a nice surprise vi getting by the mail on friday.

 Vi has actuals considered  a secret to several weeks however vi did'n knew it.

The 26. september 2004 we went to Polen and Bidachoes A Smooth Aslan " Basse" get  Res. CACIB, What we did't know  , were that BOB Marwelon Mao ) were International Champion , and Res. CACIB'et therefore becomme CACIB.

And the 16. april 2005 we goes to Belgium getting CACIB'et on Bidachows A Smooth Aslan, so actually, he becomme INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION that day but we did'n know.

Now Denmark has got a smooth  International's Champion

Who will ever believe this?

For so long we had been looking for at longhaired Chow Chow bitch and -yes, actually we fell in love with a smooth male, we never regretted that step though. Basse (Aslan) is so energetic and lively which we should have known when we picked him up at Birgit and Lars. We were about to get into the car when Basse found some cat shit he had to jump in, well, he was clean and wet when we left.
At home Golly and Futte were waiting, even though they are old (8 ½ and 11) immediately they accepted Basse as the baby of the family. Especially Golly and Basse are very fond of each other.
Previous I have trained German Shepherds and decided long ago that my next puppy should go with me to puppy training. Shortly after we got Basse we started at the DKK's puppy training class. That was really fun, both Basse and I enjoyed the time we spent there. We met a lot of different kinds and sizes of dogs and their people. I had the feeling that the instructor didn't expect a lot discipline from a Chow, but after a few sessions she got wiser.
We ended the 12th session with a test, which contained 11 "questions", and Basse was very promising in 9 and promising in 2 so the result was a First Prize. That's why we continued to the Junior class which ended this June with another test where Basse got 96 points of 100, First Prize again, no wonder he was Prince Charming. 
He really loves his sessions at the "Dog School" when we leave home without Golly and Ivan he knows we are going to the session and he howls all the way with simple pure joy.
We wanted to continue these sessions, but unfortunately there were no classes in Vejle. The Danish Kennel Club recommended us to contact DCH(dogs obedience class).  We started July this year and again we met a instructor with a lot of prejudice about Chows  but we show him that a Smooth Chow can do obedience and Basse still loves his training and sessions.

At home he still takes the toilet paper, pulls the leash when we walk, sometimes very impatiently, pulls the clothes down from the drying line, picks up everything that is not firmly grounded, hides our footwear, and he loves the beach where he can swim and so forth. We could continue the story, but will end for now.

Finally we will send a big thank you to Birgit and Lars for our lovely dog - and Birgit, thank you for sending your puppy all the way to Judland. We know it is hard on you, but it isn't that far away.
